Shred delivery has an unusual shape. A provider pays once to receive the feed, and every additional subscriber gets a copy of packets that have already been paid for. The marginal cost of the next customer is bandwidth and almost nothing else.

At the rate we measured, that is about $12 to $17 a month to serve one subscriber. Here is what the market asks for it.

Prices are what each vendor published on 2026-08-31. Margins are ours to estimate and theirs to dispute: we assume roughly $14 to serve a subscriber, which is what it costs us. This is a good business at $100, and a 85% margin is plenty.

How it works

We receive at the edge and forward the raw packets

We hold a position close to where blocks are broadcast in Frankfurt, take delivery of shreds from multiple independent upstreams, and forward the first copy of each one to your socket. Nothing is decoded, nothing is reordered, nothing is buffered waiting for a block to complete.

Taking several sources and forwarding whichever arrives first means the feed is never slower than its best source on any given packet. What you receive is what a validator in that building would have received, minus the time it takes a packet to reach you.

Before anything flows

We prove you own the address first

When you add a destination we send exactly one datagram to it. You read it on that machine and hand the token back. Only then do we start sending.

That packet is also the first thing our relay will ever send you, so it doubles as a working test of the path. The token lasts 10 minutes and you can ask for another one as many times as you need.

What do I actually receive?

Raw Solana shreds as UDP datagrams, sent to an address and port you nominate. They arrive exactly as they came off the network, unmodified and undecoded, so you see on-chain activity at the earliest moment it is observable. You run the receiver, we do the delivering.

Why is this $100 when everyone else charges $500?

Because we price the shredstream on what it costs to run rather than on what the category has got away with charging. The arithmetic is published on our economics page, down to the transit rate. Same shreds, same wire, a fraction of the bill.

How quickly can I be up and running?

Minutes. Pay, sign in with the same email, name the address and port you want shreds sent to, confirm it, and the stream starts. Our firewall rule generator produces the exact one-line rule for your platform if you want it ready in advance.

What happens when Jito ShredStream shuts down?

Jito discontinued its shred service, which is why a lot of people are shopping right now. Moving to us means pointing at a different source address and opening a UDP port. Our migration guide covers the configuration change line by line, and most teams are switched over the same day.
